What is Bazuka Sub-Zero Freeze Treatment?

 

Bazuka Sub-Zero is a powerful freezing treatment designed to quickly freeze warts and verrucas. It's a home use ‘freeze’ treatment for verrucas and warts, based on cryotherapy used by doctors and healthcare professionals.

 

Bazuka Sub-Zero freezes the verruca or wart to the core from the first treatment. Great for a fast to use, and effective treatment. It contains two ingredients dimethyl ether and liquid propane gas. These work together to freeze the infected area and destroy the tissue after 10 days, the treated wart or verruca will fall off, revealing new skin that has formed beneath.

 

Warnings and Precautions

  • Keep out of the sight and reach of children.

  • Not suitable for children under 4 years.

  • Do not use this product without first reading the full instructions in the enclosed information leaflet carefully.

  • Keep and use away from ignition sources (flame, cigarettes etc), temperatures above 50°C and direct sunlight, and do not pierce or burn container even when empty.

Do not use if:

  • You are pregnant or breast-feeding

  • You are diabetic

  • You are using any other wart or verruca treatment at the same time

Do not use:

  • On or near your face, armpits, breasts, bottom or genital (sex) area

  • On birthmarks, moles, warts with hair growing from them, or any other spots

  • On skin areas that are sensitive, damaged, cut, grazed, diseased or itchy

How do I use Bazuka Sub-Zero Freeze Treatment?

 

Do not use this product without first reading the full instructions in the enclosed information leaflet carefully, and until you have familiarised yourself with the correct assembly, operation and use of the freeze device.

 

Directions:

 

Soak

  • Soak the verruca or wart in warm water for a few minutes.

 

Dry & File

  • Dry using your own towel to avoid spreading infection. After drying, gently file with an emery board or pumice stone.

 

Assemble & Charge

  • Assemble the applicator so it’s ready for freezing, then ‘charge’ the device by pressing down on the safety cap for 3 seconds

 

Apply

  • Immediately after charging, apply Bazuka Sub-Zero directly to the verruca or wart with a constant, light pressure for the time specified in the table below.

 

The contact time depends on the size of the wart or verruca and the recommended times are:

  • For less than 2.5mm – 10 seconds

  • In between 2.5mm-5mm – 15 seconds

  • Larger than 5mm – 20 seconds

For children between 4-11 and those with sensitive skin, those times should be halved.

What are the side effects of Bazuka Sub-Zero Freeze Treatment?

 

Be aware when using Bazuka Sub-Zero there will be some pain or discomfort but this should ease off quickly and the treated area will turn white when using the treatment.

 

If any irritation or discomfort persists then should contact your GP.
