Colpermin IBS Relief Capsules 20 - for effective, soothing relief from IBS
Colpermin IBS Relief Capsules contain natural peppermint oil formulated in a sustained release capsule, clinically proven to provide effective, targeted relief from the symptoms of Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) such as:
Painful spasms
Bloating
Trapped wind
Diarrhoea/Constipation
Colpermin works by relaxing the spasm of the bowel wall, easing pain caused by cramps and spasms. It also lets pockets of gas, which can cause the bloating, move through the bowel more freely and leave the body easily.
You are under the age of 15.
You are allergic to peanuts, soya, or any of the other ingredients this medicine contains.
You are pregnant or breastfeeding. (Some medications may not be suitable for you or your baby at this time and a medical professional may need to recommend a different product).
You are suffering from these symptoms for the first time
You are aged over 40 and it has been some time since your last IBS attack or you symptoms have changed since your last IBS attack
You find that your symptoms get worse or do not improve over 2 weeks
You are taking any indigestion remedies
You have passed blood from your bowel and/or you have severe constipation
You are vomiting or feeling sick and/or have lost your appetite or have unexplained weight loss
You are unusually tired or pale
You have a fever
You have recently travelled abroad
You have abnormal vaginal bleeding or discharge
You have difficulty or pain when passing urine
Active ingredient: Peppermint oil 0.2 ml
Other ingredients: Gelatin, colloidal silica, titanium dioxide (E171), indigotine (E132), Eudragit L, Eudragit S, triethyl citrate, ammonia, monostearin, polyethyleneglycol 4000, talc, purified water, beeswax, refined arachis (peanut) oil.
Pack size: 20 capsules
Adults and Elderly: Take ONE capsule THREE times a day with a glass of water.
Not to be taken immediately after food.
If the pain and discomfort is more severe, the dose can be increased to a maximum of 2 capsules 3 times a day.
Children: NOT recommended.
Possible side effects:
Heartburn or acid reflux
Nausea and vomiting
Burning sensation in the mouth
Anal irritation
If you suffer from these side effects and they feel intolerable or are getting worse stop use and contact your GP or our pharmacist as soon as possible.
Possible side effects of an allergic reaction:
Rash
Headache
Slow pulse rate
Loss of co-ordination
Shaking
If you have any of these symptoms stop taking Colpermin and seek medical attention straight away.
