What are Loratadine 10mg Tablets?

Loratadine is an antihistamine which reduces the effects of histamines in your body. It helps overcome allergic reactions and symptoms of hay fever such as sneezing, itching, watery eyes, and a runny nose. 

A single daily dose of Loratadine 10mg can provide relief from symptoms of:

• Skin allergies

• Hay fever

• Pet allergies

• Dust allergies

These tablets work by stopping the effect of the substance called histamine, which is produced in the body when you are allergic to something. This then relieves symptoms.

If hayfever symptoms are stopping you from getting on with your day, loratadine tablets are just the thing for you. They get to work quick and give 24 hours of relief without making you drowsy.

Children who weight 30kg or less: not recommended. - try Loratadine 5mg Syrup

Children under 2 years: not recommended.

Warnings and Precautions

Do not take if:

• You are pregnant or breast feeding.

• You are allergic to Loratadine or any of the other ingredients this medicine contains.

Speak to your GP  or pharmacist before use if:

• You have liver disease

• You are scheduled to have any skin tests for allergies. (Do not take Loratadine Tablets for two days before having these tests). This is because it may affect the test results.

Active ingredient: Loratadine 10mg.

Other ingredients: Lactose, maize starch, pregelatinised starch and magnesium stearate.
